Good World Citizen will be collaborating in a new project with AVO (Associazione Volontari Ospedalieri) Florence section.
The project aims to create a desk that provides information and accompaniment in healthcare, prevention and health. The AVO volunteers together with the volunteers or operators of the partner associations, appropriately trained, will be able to inform, support in setting appointments for visits and exams and also accompany the people who will turn to the counter in the health or prevention path.
The training sessions will start on the 21st of January 2023 and will be held at AVO Firenze headquarters in via di Malcontenti 6 Firenze.
The goal of this project is to increase the well-being of people who turn to counseling centres and to facilitate access to healthcare and prevention pathways for people of non-Italian origin.
